OTC Nordic Program Meeting and Trauma Controversies
February 1st to 3rd, 2019
The three wise OTC presidents of the Nordic countries, accompanied by board-members, joined forces in Copenhagen during the first weekend of February. Michael Ullman presented a rapport from the Advanced Trauma Course with cadaver dissections held at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Mölndal, Sweden, 10-11 September 2018.
The venue was the brand new 100 sqm surgical skills wet-lab “Cut&Learn”, designed by Michael Ullman. An international faculty lectured and instructed 25 orthopaedic surgeons from all over Scandinavia. The course was highly appreciated according to the feedback forms.
The venue is strategically located in Northern Europe, with easy access by air, train and car. OTC Nordic plan to arrange yearly courses here.
Course fees were in accordance with international standards. Sponsorship agreements have been made with some eight external companies apart from the main sponsors: Stryker Nordic and OTC Foundation.
During the formal, Dr. Michael Ullman, President of OTC Sweden, was elected OTC Nordic Secretary General and Coordinator.
